  • EDUCATION. SPAIN
There has recently been a recovery of trades and traditional customs in a great area of Europe, either as a way to preserve part of the culture, or as a means of endowing these regions with much tourist content. Thus, there are plenty of traditional music festivals, medieval street markets, craftwork fairs, etc. That is why we suggest the promotion of transnational knowledge of the different experiences carried out in the European territory on the one hand, and, on the other, the promotion of trades and occupations that may appear, raise, or be demanded surrounding these kind of events; naturally, taking into account the integration of new countries in the European Union, to widen knowledge of the different members' traditional cultures as well as to unify quality proceeding criteria, with good use in subject of safety, making teachers mobility easier.
For this reason, and from Oviedo City Council, they are submitting this Project where traditional music will be one of the main axes upon which the Project is based and having as representative item the figure of the bagpipes.
