TURKEY
Afyon has a strategic importance
even though economic growth
is not reach the foreseeable
level. It has granite reserves,
thermal waters, natural and
cultural assets. But it could
not be enough advertised both
national and international.
Therefore Afyon will lead
the Urban Transformation Project.
Urban Transformation is dedicated
to creating and implementing
comprehensive revitalization
programs in neighborhoods
and urban centers throughout
the country and belongs to
the EU grant program Promotion
of the Civil Society Dialogue
Between European Union and
Turkey- Towns& Muncipalities.
In this EU program important
think is transferring knowledge
from EU Municipalities which
has alternative, cultural
tourism. In this project we
have to work with minimum
one EU Municipality as Partner.
According Project, Afyon Municipality
and Municipality from EU will
organize visiting activities
mutually, conferences and
seminars.
We require to contact the
municipalities in Spain, Italy
or Portugal.

employment
strategies.
This Municipality
can only
act as
a partner
due to
its small
dimension.
The promoter
must be
a public
authority
or an
agency
at central
or regional
level
dealing
with employment
policy.

entity

This
association
is
looking
for
potential
partners
for
the
submission
of
a
proposal
under
the
Intelligent
Energy
2007
Programme
in
order
to
create
a
network
in
Europe
for
the
awareness
on
the
intelligent
use
of
alternative
energies
like
the
bio
fuels.
The
awareness
activities
may
be
energy
week
campaigns;
seminars,
good
practices
exchange,
etc.
They
will
be
launched
especially
in
rural
areas
but
not
exclusively.
